YouTube censors another CPAC video, gives the channel a strike

YouTube removed a video of the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) recent event in Texas, which featured key conservative figures like former President Donald Trump, Senator Ted Cruz, and Rep Jim Jordan, according to the event’s organizer, the American Conservative Union.

The video was removed for violating the platform’s policy on “misinformation” and the account was given a strike, meaning it cannot post new content for a week. Should the account get two more strikes within a 90 day period, it will be permanently banned.

“The removal of CPAC Texas is yet another example of YouTube censoring conservative voices,” CPAC Chairman Matt Schlapp told The Daily Wire. “This cannot continue. The Silicon Valley monopolies abuse their control over the flow of information to prop up the Democrat Party. It’s time we rein in Big Tech.”
