After news broke that former Trump advisor and host of Real America’s Voice's “The War Room,” Steve Bannon was to stand trial for fraud charges next year, Bannon vowed to “destroy the Democrat Party as a national political institution.”
“We're going to destroy the Democrat Party as a national political institution,” Bannon told reporters.
Bannon was at a court in Manhattan, New York for charges related to money laundering, attempt to commit conspiracy, and one count of scheming to defraud people who funded the “We Build the Wall” nonprofit organization.
This isn’t Bannon’s first time vowing to destroy the Democrat Party, either. In April 2022 during an interview with Sky News, Bannon laid out his vision for what’s to come.
“2022 is how we are going to stop this. We are going to have a sweeping… I think we can have a 100-seat pickup in the House of Representatives. I think we can flip the Senate,” Bannon said.
“We intend to destroy the Democrat party as a national institution, from school boards all the way up to state legislatures, attorney generals, secretaries of state, to the House and the Senate. Trump is definitely running in 2024,” he added.
When asked if Trump will run for reelection in 2024, Bannon answered, “Oh, it’s not even a question. He’s going to run.”
“I think you can see from his speeches at his rallies, he’s definitely running. There’s no doubt,” he added.
“It’s clear that Biden isn’t going to run for reelection,” Bannon continued.
“We didn’t take him (Newsom) out on the recall. We should have. I told people if we don’t take this guy out, he’s going to be dangerous… He’s also going to have a $200 million dollar war chest. He’s got Silicon Valley, he’s got Hollywood, California is the seventh largest economy in the world,” Bannon said.
“Biden and Kamala Harris are going to be so crushed this November, the Democrats are going to be throwing a lot of people overboard,” Bannon added.
