United States Air Force Embraces Woke Diversity & Inclusion Education

Diversity training has infiltrated the ranks of the United States Air Force. Many airmen are now required to learn today’s woke, gender-neutral vernacular.

A new program, entitled “Diversity & Inclusion: What it is, why we care, & what we can do” focuses on “person-centered” language, advising new cadets not to think of a person as a “him” or “her” but whatever pronoun that person prefers. Instructors pushing the program claim this is necessary for proper character development.

A slide presentation shown to cadets instructs them to use gender-neutral language and advises them not to call their own parents “mom” and “dad” but to say “parent” or “caregiver,” according to FOX News. Cadets are told to say “folks” instead of the term “guys.” And cadets are told not to say “boyfriend” or “girlfriend” but rather “partner.”

The USAF’s focus is to indoctrinate its troops to be “person-centered” by choosing the proper terms. The slide show told cadets not to call “disabled persons” just that, but to instead say “people with disabilities.” They are also not to tell jokes at the expense of subordinates. And yes, the cadets are told to ask others what terms they want to be referred to by.

GOP lawmakers Sen. Lindsay Graham (R-S.C) and Congressman Mike Gallagher (R-Wis) and Michael Waltz (R-Fla) have written a letter to Secretary of the USAF Frank Kendall stating concerns over this addition to the training curriculum, according to Townhall.

“As veterans, we are proud of our service, experiences, and the opportunities it has provided…however, we want to ensure that the Air Force is focused on outpacing the threat and make certain we can recruit and retain the best Airmen to accomplish the mission,” the letter states.

Now at the USAF Academy in Colorado Springs, CO, a “Diversity and Including Reading Room” has been established as a “safe” space for cadets to “deepen their exploration of the issues involved in diversity, inclusion and justice,” according to Daniel Couch, assistant English professor at the Academy.

Additionally, a new purple ribbon has been created by the USAF. The ribbon is given upon graduation to those who participate in the “Cadet Wing Diversity and Inclusion Program,” as “Diversity Representatives.”

“Our officers are politically and socially indoctrinated right alongside the population that passes through our college and universities,” wrote former US Navy sailor Frank Wuco in Newsweek. Wuco served for more than forty years. “Our nation’s official war colleges offer little solace. They seem suicidally determined to out-progressive their rabidly progressive civilian counterparts.”
