Rapper and cultural icon Kanye West praised Donald Trump in a Thursday interview with Fox News's Tucker Carlson, claiming Trump loved America and wanted the best for her. West, a frequent ally of the President, has been vocal about his support for Conservative politics since 2018 — although he met with then-President-Elect Trump even earlier in 2016.
“They weren’t serving my boy Trump the way we could have. Because Trump wanted nothing but the best for this country. Like, Moses stuttered. God is not always gonna bring the most perfect personality. At lot of times, the most fake people, their job is talking, and making people feel comfortable. And realest people are going to make you feel uncomfortable at first.”
Kanye West then praised Trump as “the s***”, claiming Trump's status as a cultural icon was connected with his creative genius — building buildings and making Ivanka Trump.
“I keep telling this joke. If people keep saying he was the first black president, I’m going to be the first Latino president because all the values, the conservative values, just line up. Come on, man, Trump’s the sh-t. What do you mean he has his own buildings? What are you talking about? He’s like Ralph Lauren. He made Ivanka.” West claimed.
Donald Trump has also praised Kanye in the past. Trump claimed that West was “different” — but in a great way!
“I like him a lot, he’s a friend of mine… He's a very different kind of a guy, I say that in a positive way. Those in the music business say he’s a genius, and that’s okay with me.”
In turn, Kanye West has praised Trump as the great leader he is on more than one occasion:
“You don't have to agree with trump but the mob can't make me not love him. We are both dragon energy. He is my brother. I love everyone. I don't agree with everything anyone does. That's what makes us individuals. And we have the right to independent thought.”

Kanye is exactly right — as free creatures of God, we all have a right to independent thought. Leftist intolerance towards Kanye's political stances is sickening. West has a right to express himself, and more importantly, to pursue the advancement of politics which improve the American dream. Simply put — West wants to put America First. Who can blame him?
