Trump visits Ohio while Buttigieg takes “personal time”

While the people of East Palestine, Ohio have been struggling to gain access to clean air and water, the Secretary of Transportation declared that he's busy taking some “personal time”. At least, that's what Pete Buttigieg told a reporter for the Daily Caller earlier this week.

Meanwhile, the America-First former President, Donald Trump, made it a priority to visit the Ohio town that has been plagued by a toxic chemical spill that threatens the health of every citizen living there. During his visit, Trump met with local leaders (including the Mayor of East Palestine) and bought provisions such as food and water for the victims of the chemical disaster.

With this in mind, we have to ask ourselves why the current President would choose to travel to Ukraine to meet with Volodymyr Zelensky instead of addressing the ongoing crisis in Ohio. Of course, the simple answer is that Biden has consistently chosen to put America second, choosing instead to spend billions of dollars to fund the war in Ukraine.

Is it any wonder why President Trump is more popular than Biden when Trump is the only one who's currently acting like a President? Why would we continue to support a politician who chooses to spend resources on other countries instead of helping Americans in his backyard?

Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg is too busy taking walks to address the unfurling environmental and health crises caused by a train derailment and subsequent hazardous chemical burn in Ohio earlier this month.

At least, that’s what he told the Daily Caller’s Jennie Taer when asked if he had anything to say to the people in East Palestine, Ohio, who are “suffering right now” after a train carrying toxic chemicals veered off the tracks. The train cars were later deliberately set ablaze, which disseminated a noxious plume of black smoke that was spotted from miles away.
