Did you see the news about the trans teacher who was put on leave for admitting that she wanted to shoot students or harm herself? WEAR ABC reported that the teacher, who uses “she/her” pronouns, was sent to the school counselor, where she reported that she had concerning thoughts regarding shooting students because they weren't performing to her standards.
This is just another in a long list of trans individuals who have either expressed or carried out heinous attacks on students. Recently we learned that another school shooter identified as trans, but the question remains as to how many trans individuals harbor these feelings towards students who accidentally misgender them.
In the case of the Hernando School District in Florida, it seems that authorities were in the right when they took away the teacher's firearms and placed her on administrative leave. While I'm not a strong proponent of gun control, this particular case saved lives and the actions of the authorities in their quick response to a serious threat should be commended.

A transgender teacher in Florida has been removed from the classroom in the Hernando School District (HSD) and law enforcement officials have seized the individual’s firearms after they allegedly made a comment about wanting to shoot students.
WEAR ABC 3 reported that the teacher, who uses “she/her” pronouns, had recently learned of a social media post in which their “sexual orientation was being discussed negatively.”
The teacher was sent to the school guidance counselor’s office on March 24 after reportedly claiming to be having “bad thoughts.”
The teacher allegedly made “concerning comments about self-harm” and said they were having “suicidal thoughts” and that they owned firearms and “wanted to shoot some students due to them not performing to their ability.”
Officials have not released the name of the teacher.
