TPN Founder On Elon Musk Twitter Take-Over: “I Hope He's Successful”
“He's making a value statement here. This is a battle of values”
(MELISSA, TEXAS) – True Patriot Network founder and CEO Ryan Chamberlin joined David Zere from Breaking Point on Real America's Voice Friday to discuss TPN's launch and Elon Musk's offer to buy Twitter.
Chamberlin explained the key motivation behind launching a Facebook alternative platform was to have a values-driven social media company that respects users and upholds Faith, Family, and Freedom first. “Social media, as much as we wouldn't like to admit it, we've given a lot of power to that style of communication,” Chamberlin said. The tech giants running the show right now have abused that power.
When asked his thoughts on the likelihood of Elon Musk acquiring Twitter, Chamberlin replied, “I can't predict the future. I just know he's making a value statement here. This is a battle of values. . . People are making decisions today, they're loyalty decisions, based on values. When we look at Twitter, when we look at what happened to Disney last week and what's been going on in Facebook — people are exiting in droves because they don't like the canceling woke machines that have been allowed to be created.”
Chamberlin continued, “So I certainly hope he's successful. If he's not, he's shaking things up enough to get enough people asking the right questions to allow the next generation of social media to come in. That's where TPN stands, I mean, we're part of that next generation.”
Chamberlin emphasized that while Elon Musk is targetting Twitter, TPN is the alternative to Facebook. The invitation-only app is in the beginning stages of launching, and can only be downloaded using the special link below.
