Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, but I invite you to begin giving thanks right now.
We have much to be thankful for, even in the midst of our current political crises. God has blessed each of us more than we deserve.
Be thankful for the family and friends in your life— if you have any to speak of, that's a gift!
Be thankful for food on the table and a roof over your head. Most of us take this for granted, but many homeless people in our country won't have that experience this Thanksgiving.
Be thankful for God's unending love and ready mercy.
And yes, be thankful for those brave men and women who celebrated the first Thanksgiving and made all our lives here possible.
