Liberal Chattanooga Mayor Tim Kelly Seeks Re-election In 2025

Last Thursday, Liberal Chattanooga Mayor Tim Kelly announced that he plans to run for a second term in 2025.

At this point Kelly still has a year and a half left of his first mayoral term.

Even though Chattanooga city elections are technically non-partisan, during his time as mayor, Kelly has supported left-leaning political operations and efforts to convert Chattanooga into a “smart city,” as well as mocked the death of a Conservative radio personality prior to being elected.

The recent campaign announcement was made to a crowd of supporters at the former city community center on the Westside, which Kelly says will be repurposed to allow for new affordable housing in that area.

“We’ve got a lot of work left to do,” Kelly stated. “I’m asking for your support and for you to join me so that together we can help Chattanooga realize its full potential as the best city in Tennessee and the best city in America.”
