It is heartbreaking to learn the details emerging about the Texas school shooting.
It's especially heartbreaking to learn, as in so many cases, that red flags were ignored which could have prevented the shooting.
From Just the News:
“Where was the school psychologist, the school counselor, the assistant principal? How were they not monitoring his anti-social behavior? … There were numerous threats and indicators that [the shooter] was a problem, and no one seemed to do anything about it.”
It’s up to the adults in the room to wake up, notice, take action, and create better policies. “If you see something, say something.”
