On Tuesday, the conservative lineup for the House Oversight Committee was revealed and Republicans should be overjoyed at the conservative firebrands that will be taking center stage when holding the Biden administration accountable for their last two years of governance.

The representatives who will be alongside House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) include Reps. Kelly Armstrong (R-ND), Lauren Boebert (R-CO), Tim Burchett (R-TN), Eric Burlison (R-MO), Byron Donalds (R-FL), Chuck Edwards (R-NC), Russell Fry (R-SC), Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), Paul Gosar (R-AZ), Nick Langworthy (R-NY), Jake LaTurner (R-KS), Gary Palmer (R-AL), Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL), Scott Perry (R-PA), Lisa McClain (R-MI), Pete Sessions (R-TX), and William Timmons (R-SC), as reported by Breitbart.

The lineup is filled with members of the GOP opposition that led the charge against Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) earlier this month, showcasing that the fight paid off. Some of the notable members include Reps. Byron Donalds, Lauren Boebert, Anna Paulina Luna, and Marjorie Taylor Greene.

“I’m honored to be joining the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability,” tweeted Lauren Boebert in excitement. “Chairman [James Comer], let’s get to work!”

“Joe Biden, be prepared. We are going to uncover every corrupt business dealing, every foreign entanglement, every abuse of power, and every check cut for the Big Guy,” Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene wrote in a statement in reference to Hunter Biden's alleged foreign business dealings.

“And it's not just the Biden Crime Family, the GOP majority will investigate every bit of government being used to abuse the American people,” Greene continued. “Every three and four-letter agency will now have to answer to Republican oversight, not the rubber-stamp of Democrat rule.”

“I can't wait to get started and look forward to my assignment being ratified next week by the entire GOP conference,” she said in conclusion.

A similar statement was released by Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL), who was the Speaker alternative for the GOP holdouts, emphasized that the committee will work for the American people and “not political gamesmanship.”

“A system of checks and balances sits at the core of our Constitutional Republic, and few institutions engage in this critical duty better than the House Oversight and Accountability Committee,” the Florida congressman wrote. “As a returning member of this committee, I look forward to ensuring the efficiency, effectiveness, and accountability of the federal government and its agencies. The mission of our Chairman, James Comer (R-KY) is to work for We The People – not political gamesmanship – and assure that Washington is working with the best interest of its people first.”

As the House Oversight Committee enters will begin its work for the 118th Congress, they have pledged to investigate the crisis at the southern border, pandemic relief fraud, the botched Afghanistan withdrawal, the energy crisis, the origins of COVID-19, and the various scandals involving President Biden including the classified document scandal and Hunter Biden's foreign business dealings.

With these conservative champions at the helm, the American people will surely get answers.
