A disturbing headline this morning on Just the News: “Facebook scraps policy that allowed users to seek human smuggling services”
From the article:
The Washington Free Beacon first reported on Facebook’s allowance of human smuggling services in February of this year. The company at the time said it was permitting such requests in order to help individuals “to seek safety or exercise their human rights.”
It’s positive that Facebook is altering the policy, but it's inexcusable that the company has such a policy to begin with, and did nothing about it after being publicly blasted a year ago.
Facebook banned speech questioning the COVID vaccine and allowed speech from human traffickers.
