Facebook’s Metaverse is Shrinking

Nov 7, 2022 | True Patriot News Daily

The Daily Wire reported today that Facebook's parent company, Meta, is expected to lay off a whopping 10% of employees in the coming year.

The layoffs will come as just one more sign that the company has seen better times.

From the article:

“The value of the company’s stock has plummeted more than 70% this year. . . The report said that users have been “largely unimpressed” by Meta’s metaverse project, which has cost the company $15 billion since the start of last year.”

The Metaverse is shrinking, stock is plummeting, and Facebook users are jumping ship. It turns out people are not too excited about their data being harvested, their personal information sold, or stepping into the “metaverse.”

And while Zuckerberb once had a monopolized market, that's no longer the case. True Patriot Network is the leading alternative to Facebook, and we welcome with arms wide open everyone who's fleeing Facebook!
