Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) made news last week when she stated she would vote for Democrat Mary Peltola to represent Alaska's one House Seat over the Trump-backed Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin.
As the Anchorage Daily News reports:
“After her speech, an Anchorage Daily News reporter asked if she plans on picking Peltola first under the state’s new ranked-choice voting system.
‘Yeah, I am,' Murkowski said.”
A reporter from a national newspaper asked Murkowski about the reason a Republican elected official would so readily offer praise to a Democrat.
‘You can tell she’s a D.C. reporter,” Murkowski said, smiling. “Because in Alaska, I think it’s still different. Mary is a friend … We have been friends for 25 years, and the fact that we’re Republican and Democrat has never interfered with that friendship.'
MAGA patriots were justifiably upset at the move. A Democrat representing Alaska is precisely the kind of thing Joe Biden wants — and that should scare Conservatives of every stripe. Alaska and America deserve Conservative fighters in Congress, not Democrats and their allies.

Trump 2020 Communication Director Tim Murtaugh concurred, tweeting:
“By backing Peltola, @lisamurkowski is supporting Nancy Pelosi as Speaker. And Democrat anti-energy policies that are crushing Alaska, driving up fuel prices & inflation. And runaway spending that only increases inflation. Murkowski is a full-on Biden ally at Alaska’s expense.”

All in all, this shows us why RINOs are so dangerous to the future of the Conservative movement. By backing Democrat Candidates, RINOs implicitly support Democrat policies. An open border, an America with abortion on demand, increased government spending, runaway inflation, and more are all the result of Democrat policies. Alaska does not need a Democrat.
They need a MAGA Republican. After all, Alaska backed Trump by over ten percentage points. That outpaces Conservative states like Texas and Ohio. All in all, we hope voters can see through the deception. By backing Peltola, Murkowski is really giving her approval to the last two years of the Biden Presidency. And that is truly despicable.
