President Trump reportedly “loves the idea of testifying” before the January 6 Committee, sources reported to Fox News on Friday morning.
This after that committee held it's 9th day of hearings since their inception in 2021, during which they voted to supbpoena the former president to sit before them and take questions under oath.
The vote among the 9 committee members, made up of seven Democrats and two Republicans who are both set to leave Congress at the end of this term, was unanimous.
Fox reported that “The source said that if Trump complied with the subpoena and testified, he would ‘talk about how corrupt the election was, how corrupt the committee was, and how Nancy Pelosi did not call up the National Guard that Trump strongly recommended for her to do three days earlier on January 3, 2021.'”
While it's unclear if Trump will testify before the committee, the source said that he “loves the idea.”
This is a breaking story and will be updated.
