BREAKING: Elon Musk Makes HUGE Statement on January 6th Following Tucker Carlson’s Investigation

Mar 10, 2023 | Political News

On Friday, Twitter CEO Elon Musk shocked the internet when he came out in support of freeing Jacob Chansley also known as the ‘QAnon Shaman' after recently released footage from Tucker Carlson brought new details to his case.

In September 2021, Chansley plead guilty to a charge of obstructing Congress' certification of the 2020 election leading to a 41-month prison sentence. Throughout that period, he has become the face of the Capitol Riot for many on the left.

The Navy veteran, however, has recently gained support amongst those who have seen newly released footage from Tucker Carlson that refuted the narrative crafted by the House Select Committee on the January 6th Attack.

Carlson's footage showcased Chansley being escorted throughout the Capitol building by two police officers and, at one point, passing by seven other officers while being directed to the Senate chambers.

Officers also attempted to open doors for Chansley and in return, the QAnon Shaman said a prayer for the officers on the Senate floor.

FOLLOWING TUCKER CARLSON'S JANUARY 6TH INVESTIGATION, HOUSE REPUBLICANS TAKE MAJOR ACTION

All of these revelations have culminated in Elon Musk voicing his support for Chansley on Friday when he tweeted, “Free Jacob Chansley.”

Musk was responding to a video that showcased the 35-year-old reading President Trump's tweets to protesters on the Capitol grounds in order to convince them to remain peaceful and return home.

“Chansley got 4 years in prison for a non-violent, police-escorted tour!?” the billionaire added. “Dave Chapelle was violently assaulted on stage by a guy with a knife. That guy got a $3000 fine & no prison time.”

In addition, Chansley's lawyer told Tucker Carlson on Thursday to discuss his plea agreement which he explained was done under conditions that didn't allow for all the evidence to be presented.

In response to Musk's tweet, Miles Ian Cheong tweeted, “Watch the media claim that you “supported the J6 insurrection” with this tweet, ignoring the fact that Chansley's trial was a sham as his defense wasn't allowed access to many of these videos that are now surfacing. He deserves to be freed.”

It is likely that those on the left will use Elon's support of Chansley's freedom as a cudgel to generalize and claim he supports the events that took place on January 6th.
