Big promises from Biden’s SOTU

Feb 9, 2023 | True Patriot News Daily

I wouldn't blame you if you didn't tune in to see President Biden's second State of the Union address last night. In case you missed it, here are a few of the absurd promises Biden made during his hour-long speech:

  • Improving America's education standards
  • Ending cancer
  • Taxing corporations
  • Cheaper insulin from Big Pharma
  • Taxing oil companies
  • Lowering cost of prescription drugs
  • More paid family leave
  • Free tuition for college students

All of this is typical Democrat red meat, they're offering solutions to problems that a lot of people face in America. However, just as telling were the issues Biden chose to leave out of his speech, which include:

  • Historic inflation
  • The border/migrant crisis
  • Rising crime levels

Ask yourselves which of these issues matters more to every American: taxing oil companies or securing our southern border and addressing the burgeoning crime rate.

The bottom line is that Biden is looking at the State of the Union through rose-colored glasses. Anyone with eyes can see that we're still facing record inflation, crime rates are continuing to spike, and our southern border seems to be wide open for anyone to walk through.

Clearly we have different policy initiatives than the President, who would seem to view climate change as the pressing issue threatening most Americans today.

If you'd like to read more about what Biden did (and didn't) say during the State of the Union, click here to read a Fox News article about it. The following is an excerpt from the article:

First, let’s cover what was not in the speech. Inflation – the nation’s number one problem – got almost no mention. In the world of this speech there was no Afghanistan, no crisis at the border, no criminals outside of identity fraudsters and fentanyl runners, no multi-billion-dollar crypto swindles, and of course no deficit or need to restrain spending.

There was a passing reference to America’s dropping educational standards but no plan to raise them and better educate our children. There was no big tech restraint on censorship, no call to take violent criminals off our streets, no call to strengthen families.

If you're like me, then you probably want a President who isn't afraid to stand up to China, address the crisis at the southern border, and put America first in all of their policy decisions. Clearly, Joe Biden is not the person America needs to get us out of this mess.
