The Presidents of the United States and Mexico and the Prime Minister of Canada, Joe Biden, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, and Justin Trudeau respectively, issued a joint declaration they've styled the “Declaration of North America” or DNA. Unfortunately, the declaration doesn't even represent a majority of the United States, let alone our neighbors to the north and south. In short, the haughtily named “declaration” is little more than a leftist, globalist manifesto.
As Erick Erickson noted, “The declaration reads like a laundry list of progressive priories drafted in a university faculty lounge. Unsurprisingly, the number one issue that superseded the border crisis, the drug crisis, and the inflation crisis, is diversity, equity, and inclusion. The second issue is climate change. ”
The “six pillars” of the declaration, give away most of the plot right away, so named as “1) diversity, equity, and inclusion; 2) climate change and the environment; 3) competitiveness; 4) migration and development; 5) health; and 6) regional security.”
First and foremost is the highly controversial notion of DEI or “diversity, equity, and inclusion” a racial identarian social justice discipline akin to Critical Race Theory.
We are not just neighbours and partners. Our people share bonds of family and friendship, and value freedom, justice, human rights, equality, and democracy. Read the Declaration of North America, issued at the North American Leaders’ Summit today: https://t.co/HUWxeJl5Vz

As previously revealed by the DC Enquirer, a study published by ResumeBuilder showed that “Fifty-two percent of companies use ‘Reverse Discrimination’ according to hiring managers, and 1 in 6 are told to ‘deprioritize’ white men.” In addition, the report found that “95% of [hiring managers] believe their DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) initiatives are improving their companies.”
DEI is precisely and expressly that, the ‘deprioritization' of the most loathed categories of the left: heterosexual, white men. For the three North American leaders, that is their priority #1 with the “Declaration of North America.”
The declaration states under the DEI header,
“To advance these objectives, President López Obrador, President Biden, and Prime Minister Trudeau reiterated their joint commitment to protect civil rights, promote racial justice, expand protections for LGBTQI+ individuals and deliver more equitable outcomes to all.”
Second comes “climate change and the environment,” which includes a few alarming prospects such as a “focus on reducing methane emissions from all sources, with a new focus on waste methane.” In short amidst insane inflation in food prices, there's a focus on livestock manure, a policy carried out to the extreme in the Netherlands last year.
The declaration also calls for the three nations to “accelerate the energy transition by deploying clean energy solutions, increasing the production and adoption of zero-emission vehicles in North America, and transitioning to cleaner fuels.”
And most disturbingly part is a directive to “conserve 30 percent of the world’s land and waters by 2030.” The U.S. federal government already owns approximately 620 million acres of land or about 27 percent of our nation's 2.27 billion acres according to the Congressional Research Service. That would mean that the federal government's control over land would have to increase by over 68 million acres.
Under the heading of “competitiveness” are some economic theories that are antithetical to the free market and competition such as “targeted investment, in key industries of the future such as semiconductors and electric vehicle batteries,” a move commonly known as “picking winners and losers.”
And in quite possibly the most direct affront to American sovereignty under “Migration and Development,” Biden stated with Trudeau and Obrador, “we affirm our joint commitment to safe, orderly, and humane migration.”
The three leaders continued adding that their nations are “assisting host communities and promoting migrant and refugee integration” as well as “expanding and promoting regular pathways for migration and protection.”
Far from discouraging and countering illegal immigration, this declaration says very loudly to the world that the three national leaders intend to facilitate it.
In short, a president who commands some of the worst polling on record has seen fit to present his radical leftist policies as the will of the American people. It is in fact the antithesis of America-First and it shows that Biden is willing to put left-wing interests over the good of the country.
