If you follow the news like me, you may have felt bogged down at one time or another. There's a lot of bad news out there, nationally and globally, and the information era allows for instant knowledge of it all.
But in all we do, we must stay happy warriors.
Have you ever noticed how folks on the left tend to be unhappy? They too see problems with our world but put the burden of change entirely on themselves. To them, this life is all there is, and it's humanity's job to progressively fix it until we reach perfection.
On the other hand, as Christians we have the knowledge that our time on earth is limited; that only God can fully restore creation; that we are His instruments of change, if we choose to be so.
Nobody except you has the ability to steal your joy. Not Joe Biden, not the leftists, not your bothersome coworker. YOU and you alone are responsible for staying a happy warrior— in other words, for keeping the joy that God has given you lit in your heart, even when times are tough. Stay strong!
